We rented a house in the beautiful Sea Pines area of Hilton Head Island over Spring Break this year. It was such a relaxing, sunny trip! Not particularly "hot" but warm enough to ride bikes, fly kites, play in the sand and even in the water some days. Grandma Eileen met us there along with the Comers for a few days. The Price family joined us for the second half of the week. It was great to just hang out on beach time. The pathway to the beach was through the side yard which made coming back to the house for restrooms and snacks an easy walk. Abby loved the bikes we rented because she rode on an alley cat behind Brad's bike. They had numerous bike paths around Sea Pines and everything there was so green! Such a beautiful sight coming off the rough Virginia winter last year. The kids played in the sand for hours each day! Out to lunch one day we let the kids have their own table and order for themselves. They felt so grown up.

March Catch Up
Well, in March, we spent a lot of time inside. It snowed, a lot. We rounded out our 13th snow day in March 2015. I love that Abby still spends a good bit of time outside eating snow, much like she did as a baby. Abby learned how to tie shoes in March and begged me to buy her tie shoes. Alex read every Minecraft book under the sun, several times. The Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner had a superhero theme so Abby seized the opportunity to dress up. Abby built her first Leprechaun Trap as part of a school assignment. Abby pinned on as a Daisy Scout under the sweet leadership of our friend Karen. Amie, Amy, Melissa and I spent some time with Adam Levine. Oh, and it snowed some more. That about sums up March :)
