The Ice Cream Truck

Alex's Cub Scout pack asked each scout to build a "car" out of a cardboard box.  It could be whatever they wanted it to be, as long as they could "wear" it in some fashion and run in it.  They were going to race around the track at his school with them, including pit stops where they'd get water, change shoes, etc.  The weather put a damper on the race itself, but they plan on racing these at the scout picnic this weekend.  At Pack Night the boys judged each other's creations and Alex earned third place in his den.  He worked very hard painting and designing his ice cream truck.  There were definitely a few that had a little more parent help than others.  Being surrounded by military families, his ice cream truck was competing against tanks, fighter jets, etc.  We are all super proud of Alex and his creation!
