Alex was responsible for making two dozen cookies for the December Pack meeting and did a fantastic job! He made Cherry Cordial Kiss cookies that tasted delicious. So delicious in fact that Abby and I made a second batch the next morning to ensure we'd have enough for the party. It is good for both of them to see how much work goes into the food they eat and to learn how to prepare some things themselves. Lately at dinner, when I get the usual "but I don't really like that", I've been correcting them with "I think what you meant to say was, thanks Mommy for making this food for us". Eventually, they will get the hint.
