White House Family Tour

We have some dear friends who work at the White House and included us on a family tour in November.  It was a big group of friends who all brought their kids.  What an exciting day for kids and parents alike!    It was the same tour I took when I went for the Christmas decorations a few years ago, and the rooms seemed really bare as they were prepping to install the Christmas decor once again.  We met Grandma and Gigi for lunch at Old Ebbitt Grill (hoping to see someone famous given that it was Election Day) after the tour and then visited the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.  That tour is a little more dry, but pretty quick, and really interesting.
